In childhood, she moved to Nizhny Novgorod with her family. She received her initial art education in a circle at the Gorky Museum of Art (first half of the 1930s). She studied at the Gorky Art College (1935–1940) with A. V. Samsonov. During World War II, she acted as director of the Gorky Museum of Art; participated in the preservation of part of the museum collection remaining in the Museum.
She continued her education in Moscow at VGIK (1945–1951) at the art faculty of Yu. I. Pimenov, F. S. Bogorodsky, G. M. Shegal. In 1951 she completed her thesis - design of the cartoon "Sinyushkin Well" according to the tale of P. P. Bazhov.
She lived in Moscow, from 1983 the summer months she spent in Gorodets, in the homeland of her husband - artist E. A. Rastorguev. Together with her husband, she repeatedly traveled in the Russian North, Crimea, the Urals, and Central Asia. She made trips to Albania, France, Japan, Germany, Holland, Italy, and the USA.
After graduating from VGIK, she worked for a short time at the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio; participated in the creation of the animated films “Sarmiko” by O. P. Khodataeva, E. N. Raikovsky (1952, 1st Peace Prize at the Prague Film Festival, 1953), “Brave Pak” by V. D. Dyagterev, E. N. Raikovsky ( 1953).
Performed landscapes, still lifes, genre compositions. She worked in various painting and drawing techniques (oil, watercolor, oil pastel, pencil), linocut, monotype. Author of paintings: “Portrait of Mother” (1941), “Mistress of the Copper Mountain” (1952–1953), “Autumn on the Kolvitsa River” (1954), “Low Tide on the Barents Sea” (1955), “Lake Nizhm. Silver Day ”(1958),“ Across Albania ”(1959, series),“ Blue Day ”(1960),“ Port in Marseille ”(1961),“ Portrait of Guzel ”(1967),“ Woman in Pink ”(1968) , “Sum Lake” (1969), “Stones (Poem on the Sea)” (1967–1970, series), “Old Copper Tableware” (1967–1970, series), “Memories of Japan” (1973, series), "Still Life with Kalach" (1978). She created easel graphic series: “Gorodets” (1973–1983), “Baku” (1974–1976), “Moscow Region” (1975–1977), “Uglich”, “Ples”, “Kostroma”, “Across Central Asia” (all - 1977), "Yalta" (1978–1979), "White Sea", "Baltic" (both - the 1970s).
She worked as a theater artist in theaters of Moscow and the RSFSR. She designed the performances: “Means of Makropoulos” by K. Chapek (1957), “Forgotten by All” by N. Hikmet (1958), “Lyubka-Lyubov” by Z. A. Danovskaya (1959, all together with V. M. Zaitseva), “ Anchor Square ”by I. V. Shtok (1960),“ Highlight on the Sun ”by L. Hansberry” (1961) at the Central Theater of the Soviet Army; “For the sake of their neighbors” V.V. Lavrentiev (1960) at the Moscow Drama Theater. N.V. Gogol; “Spring Water” according to the novel by I. S. Turgenev (1968), “A Woman Without Age” by K. Ya. Finn (1970), “The Story of a Love” by K. M. Simonov (1971) at the Dzerzhinsky City Drama Theater named after 30th anniversary of the Lenin Komsomol. She also collaborated in the Amur Regional Drama Theater in Blagoveshchensk, the Noginsk Drama Theater, the Teaching Theater at the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A.V. Lunacharsky.

Since 1958, she worked actively as a ceramist. He created bowls, decorative dishes, jugs, vases (“Toy”, 1960; “Black Jug”, 1962; “Cat”, 1962; “Bird”, 1967; “Matryoshka”, 1968).
